Raja, tomai salaam!

One attempt of theft was made in Tower of London's 900 year old history to steal the crown jewels--and that news is still on their webpage, in the audio guide and even enacted as a drama to entertain children at the premise. And yet, in the same tower of london lies the Koh-i-noor, the two Stars of Africa, the Imperial Crown of India (which was made at the extra cost of 60,000 pound collected from the Indians due to george vi's state visit) and thousands of different diamonds, sapphiers, and rubies looted from all over the world. This is what David Cameron, the British PM, has to say with regard to India's demand to return the Koh-i-noor: "If you say yes to one you suddenly find the British Museum would be empty."
Moral lesson: when one person attempts a theft, he is a thief to be condemned forever; when one nation succeeds at banditry, they are called "explorers and adventurers who collected artifacts" (quote courtesy audio guide at windsor castle and the tower of London). Raja, tomai salaam!

DSK saga

There's an entire BOOK written by DSK's female subordinate on his series of  sexual misconduct , even before this latest incident came to light. What, may I ask, is the point in condemning this one beast while an entire system rewards such beasts with careers such as chief of IMF and potential Presidency of France? Oh well, I always feel apologetic towards the real beasts when I compare such respectable gentlemen to them, since I have the faith that the tigers and chimpanzees and guerrillas (and the rest) are far more civilized within the norms of their own societies , at the very least they don't wear such dangerous gentlemanly masks!

I feel very proud of the maid in the NY hotel who went ahead with her charges without fear, the weapon with which such beasts exploit women in vulnerable position. In 2002 there was one such incidence involving a girl in France, whose mother persuaded her to not press charges against someone as powerful as DSK. The maid in NY  is far more courageous than this  woman from the land that gave voice to feminism since 1789.

By the way, DSK is the face of socialism in a center-left political party. Hypocrisy thy name is Liberté, égalité, fraternité! Amen.
